The Discovery Program 12 Step 60-Day Program: The 12 Step 60-Day Program offered by The Discovery Program in Los Angeles offers men and women an introduction into maintaining a sober lifestyle.

The Discovery Program 60-day program guides clients through all 12 steps by providing reading and writing assignments with strict deadlines attached. Accountability goes a long way in an addict’s life. Lack of accountability perpetuated the addiction. If we are to help our clients truly begin again and live a healthy, happy sober life, it must begin with accountability and responsibility.  If residents are taught to take responsibility for their lives, then they are taking responsibility for their recovery. 

Clients learn how to work a 12 step program of recovery in the facility with other residents. This extended period of time (60-days), allows an individual more time to acclimate to recovery and identify relapse triggers in their behavior and learn through each 12 step how to change this behavior to remain clean and sober.
